Frequently Asked Questions
Restorative Tattoo & Skin Treatments
-
Most clients with healed scars, stretch marks, or surgical areas may be candidates. The skin must be fully healed and stable before treatment.
A consultation is required prior to booking. Virtual consultations are complimentary and require clear photos for assessment. In-person consultations are available upon request and include a booking fee.
-
This depends on the procedure and how the skin has healed.
Camouflage tattoo: Scars are typically at least 12 months old and fully matured.
Inkless revision: Scars are generally 6 months old; stretch marks may be treated around 3 months, depending on healing.
Pixie Powder: Performed once the skin is stable and no longer actively remodeling.
Areola restoration: Completed once surgical healing is finished, typically around 12 months.
These timelines serve as general guidelines. Because every body heals differently, a consultation and photos are required to determine readiness.

Most restorative treatments require 1–3 sessions depending on the area treated, how the skin responds, and your desired outcome.
Rather than packaging multiple sessions in advance, I prefer to assess the skin after each treatment and move forward intentionally. This allows us to support proper healing and achieve the most natural-looking result.
-
Discomfort is typically minimal and very manageable. Sensitivity varies depending on the area being treated and individual tolerance.
Topical numbing and secondary numbing agents are available to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.
-
Healing occurs in stages.
Initial surface healing typically takes about 7–14 days. During this time, the area may appear slightly pink, darker, or more noticeable before softening.
Full skin recovery and final results develop gradually over 4–8 weeks, and in some cases up to 12 weeks, as the skin settles and regenerates.
-
All restorative treatments are long-lasting, though longevity can vary based on skin type, sun exposure, environment, and lifestyle factors.
Camouflage tattoo and areola restoration may benefit from a refresh session after several years to maintain optimal color and vibrancy.
